Nestled on the steep hillside, this traditional ryokan offers a serene escape from the city. the beautiful Japanese garden with a pond and carp, and the surrounding rice fields add to the ambiance. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with tatami on the floor, while the family onsen is fantastic. the traditional breakfast is worth a try and staff offer shuttle bus services to town.
The shared bathroom facilities with onsen bathing might be challenging for some guests.

The amazing view of the farmland from our room was spectacular and the traditional futons and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese. The staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed the onsen a lot and appreciated the exclusivity of the facilities.
The location was a bit far from the main town, but we had a rental car so it wasn't a big problem for us. However, it might be inconvenient for those who rely on public transportation.
